Gardening: How to Grow Asparagus

I have been wanting to grow asparagus for several years and this article has inspired me to get started! Knowing that asparagus can take several years before it produces a harvest seems like a long time to wait (especially with small children who want instant gratification!), but I didn't realize that once planted asparagus will produce a crop every spring for 20-30 years! That's a great return on your initial investment!
